Triple Sarah Michelle Gellar Sightings In Dayton!

Buffy is back and she's in town! For only a limited time! Oops. I mean Sarah Michelle Gellar and her duo identity characters- Siobhan and Bridget on CW's new show, Ringer, which I reviewed weeks ago here: http://sugarygingersnap.blogspot.com/2011/10/double-troubled-ringer-review.html Still giving it a chance. Though I must admit, I'm two episodes behind (still missing the talented, curvaceous Gemma *insert sniffle*) on the twisted yet utterly predictable drama. Strolling through Dayton, seeing larger than life Ringer ads on Smithville (near home) and on Wayne Ave and Main Streets (both downtown) would give "Big Head Portrait" a run for her money! Also, I kept thinking about Buffy. Did the Slayer have this many billboards in our town? Was her presence graced with stakes and crosses telling us to WB? I miss that show so much. Damn. Doubly Troubled: A Ringer Review

Emmy winning, Golden Globe nominated, Sarah Michelle Gellar is one hell of an actress. At least I think so. Since the days of short-lived teen soap opera, Swan’s Crossing , I’ve been an avid fan of hers. Followed her other television appearances- another soap All My Children and the very addictive, kick butt addiction of Buffy the Vampire Slayer . Watched her somewhat mediocre films, Simply Irresistible, Cruel Intentions, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream 2, The Grudge, The Return (ugh! Not her best!) and a slew of unreleased material. Now after a long hiatus, she’s returned to the small screen. Most welcomed her with opened arms and excitement.... Cruel Intentions meets Buffy eh? Six episodes into Ringer , I cannot stop wincing and will likely age about ten years before the season is over. That is, if I'm still watching!
